UKRI Participatory Research Funding

UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) is currently funding participatory and co-produced research that strengthens research outcomes by involving the communities and users of research, better recognising their experience, needs and preferences, and giving greater agency to communities to implement findings.

We are delighted that our application for the participatory research project ‘Exploring perceptions of cognitive load in online learning’ has been successful.

The project will culminate in the publication of a case study documenting the process of co-designing a focus group study with a research advisory board, covering ethical considerations, recruitment, communication, monitoring, and any other practical aspects that may be helpful to other researchers interested in participatory research methods.
